New Hockey Season Ticket Policy To Be Announced
It's a little different from what Athletics has opted for the previous three years, but it's a step in the right direction. The new policy reinstates a key element of the classic first-come-first-served "line" which was lost in the changes of recent years: a way to ensure that the most dedicated fans receive tickets. If only that were the case when I was there. Although during my freshman year (the stampede) I was line number 123 and senior year, I rigged the system by getting three sets of line numbers to have overall pick number 50, I still would've liked some respect as a 4 year faithful.

Right, we "gamed" the system the previous two years by having lots of friends pick up line numbers for us. The point of the new system will be to make sure that people won't have to do this if they buy tickets their freshman and sophomore years.
